Cancellation & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy using GrantGuard, but we understand that circumstances change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work.

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time using either method:

  • Self-service: Go to Settings in the GrantGuard app and use the Stripe Customer Portal to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Contact support: Email us at support@grantguard.ai and we'll process your cancellation promptly.

2. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to the Service until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation is processed.

3. Refund Policy

  • No partial refunds: We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time remaining in your current billing period.
  • Monthly plans: Your access continues through the end of the current month. No refund for the remaining days.
  • Annual plans: Your access continues through the end of the current annual term. No refund is provided for remaining months after cancellation.

4. Data Retention After Cancellation

After your subscription ends, your data (including grant documents, compliance records, and account information) will be retained for 30 days. During this period, you may reactivate your account and regain access to your data.

After 30 days, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted. If you need your data exported before cancellation, please contact us and we will assist you.

5. Reactivation

If you wish to reactivate your account within the 30-day retention window, simply log in and subscribe again. Your existing data will still be available. After the 30-day window, you will need to start with a fresh account.
